So now that the game has been out for a while, who wants to talk about the rift between Sakurai and the competitive players? It was crystal clear from Brawl that Sakurai never meant for the games to be played on a "professional" scene. So, why the hell is the "community" still up in arms over a tier-list and all that shit?
I find both sides' tenacity to be admirable, but the competitive scene is definitely more lol-worthy.

I'm conflicted. Putting aside my mixed views of FF7, this is not only a nice way to celebrate the HD remake, but it also proves that the relationship between Nintendo and Final Fantasy is not really dead. I mean, the consoles haven't seen any main series titles in Lord knows how long. This gives me hope that there is a future for the franchise on Nintendo home consoles.
Too bad it's another fucking swordsman! That's 11 now! Can we get something different for fuck's sake?!

I agree. They should have taken out Lucina, made her and Roy alt costumes to Marth and put in Hector or Ephraim instead.

Hey, Sakurai. You know, Fire Emblem has more than just sword users you know. As interesting as Corin looks with the dragon stuff, it's ANOTHER FUCKING SWORD USER.
