I agree on a death note forum. I don't watch the show regularlly, but when I do manage to catch a occasional episode, it's quite interesting. _________________ PS2 will never die.

Tho this isprobabommon knowlege by now, Michael Jackson died of a heart attack. But if i phrase it this way: Michael Jackson, a known child raper, whose face and name are easily availabe to likely anyone, died of a heart attack. Dont u get it? Light killed him! Its so obvious!

Okay, so the first 27 episodes are Light vs. L. L is a weird kind of guy, with very weird characteristics, but he's also an utter genius. His feud with Light are beautifully written and it's just great to see it. Then L's job is taken over by two guys named Near and Mello. Near is a goddamn retard who plays with toys and Mello is a leather fetishist who looks like a chick. Both these guys are completely uninteresting and it's horrible to see a genius like Light ultimately be defeated by these idiots, because were "inferior to L alone, but together they were superior". That's just insulting to L's greatness. Then there's the fact that the plot was well written in the first part and still followable, but the second half is just a mumbo jumbo of traps, double agents and JUST AS PLANNED about every chapter. _________________

Eh. I personally read it and only read a bit of it everytime. It's a great story, but I myself prefer more shonenish adventure/action stuff. DN has none of it. It's basically a detective story. Only you know who the murderer is from the start. The dub is excellent though and is done by Ocean. So it has Brian Drummond. _________________
