| Nintendo 3DSAn upcoming handheld system created by Nintendo. Set to launch on February, 2010 in Japan and March, 2010 in North America, it is a revolutionary system that takes advantage of letting you see 3D without having to use glasses. I am highly, highly, highly looking forward to getting this. It's a very promising system with many games that interest me and I'm sure it'll be Nintendo's best console since the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. | |

| As good as this looks, it's another DS and it's too pricey at the moment. I'm happy with Wii and the original DS as my mainstream Nintendo systems. | |

You know it's true. | |

| Meh, 3D or not, it's still another crappy DS. I'd rather a PSP or a older Gameboy Advanced over a DS. Tried one once, hated it. | |

| Large 'meh'.
All this means is if I want to play the new Ace Attorney and Pokemon games I have to fork over for some over-priced handheld, which right now is just as expensive as a freaking console.

And actually, this isn't true. The PS3 is gaining 3D abilities progressively.

| I personally can't wait until this is released. All the amazing hardware this system has I can see it being at least $230 - $250. This system has 3D (without glasses), Augmented Reality, Crosspass, 3-D Movies, Mii's, Video Camera and regular camera that let's you view them in 3-D, Virtual Handheld and who else knows what will be unveiled for it. Plus, it has some amazing looking launch titles. Kid Icarus Uprising, Metal gear solid 3 Snake Eater 3D, Pilot Wings Resort, Resident Evil Revelations, Street fighter IV 3-D Edition, Dead or Alive Dimensions and plenty more. I don't know why some of you think of it as an expensive DS. It's way more then that. | |

| Getting it for Resident evil. I want to buy a DS right now though. So the wait fucking sucks.
I'm pumped. Even though 3DS lite will come out like right after... money hungry ninty.

| I'm sick of this shit with Nintendo coming out with a new DS every damn second. I'll stick with the DS Lite, thank you.

Right now, it's only for Japan. I heard the value of US dollars are going up, so perhaps the prices will go down here, although I'm not too confident in it. I have to agree with others on this thought, although I do anticipate the system, it's too expensive for me to want me to get on launch, although I do plan on getting it before the year end. That being said, the prices should go down in a couple of years in the likely circumstance they release a new variation of the handheld. Just like with the original Nintendo DS's, every couple of years, the prices get slashed from older models. The games I'm looking forward to that are coming out on on the Nintendo 3DS are: - Kid Icarus: Uprising - Super Street Fighter IV 3D - Paper Mario - Mario Kart 3DS - Metal Gear Solid 3DS - Resident Evil: Revelation - Mega Man Legends 3 - Resident Evil: Mercenaries - Kingdom Hearts 3D - Animal Crossing 3DS - Dead or Alive: Dimensions - Upcoming Mario Platformer - Nintendogs + Cats - Pilotwings 3DS - Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracles That's a lot and we haven't even reached launch yet.

You're misinformed. The value of the US dollar is going down as we're printing more money. We used to be on the gold standard like 70 years ago but now we have way more bills than gold so gold has gone up considerably. If you want to rack up some quick dollars, you can sell gold that you might have that you wouldn't use.
