| Ok, so I am now no longer going to support the fucking sellout know as Capcom
Why?
Capcom has been in SHITS for awhile. 1st with cancelling 2 Megaman games, which to be honest, I didn't care. But then I heard UMVC 3 came out 8 MONTHS after the original, which ticked me off since I felt bad for my friend who got it literally 4 days before the announcement, wasting his good cash on shit and oh yea, I hate MVC3 and UMVC3. So yea, then I think about 5000 versions of Street Fighter 4 came out, since you know, they haven't learn their lesson with Street Fighter 2, almost killing the series. Then you think that with 3 Resident Evil games, you think that's good right. Well you're wrong. Street Fighter X Tekken had characters that should be in the game AS DLC, which if you make characters DLC, I will be pissed. So yea, I hate Capcom now.
So do you agree or disagree

| Do you really think I give two shits that you don't like MvC3 and UMvC3? You're entitled to your opinion as I am entitled to mine. If you don't like the games, you don't like them. Btw, Capcom has been pretty shaky as of late. I can't argue that.
Capcom shines in their own areas. The Power Stone games, Breath of Fire, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, the old Mega Man X games, etc.

| I agree. I hate Capcom now aswell. I love who they used to be but finishing an entire game and then locking away half the content on the disc and charging that for DLC "disc locked content" is pure BS and we as consumers shouldnt stand for it.
Thats my biggest problem. The game was done, every dlc for SFXT is on the disc. It should be accessible from the start. Not locked away so capcom can squeeze more money out of us by doing so.
Immoral, unethical, but does it get a profit? yes because people love to suck capcock and drink all the capsemen and capiss that is sprayed all over their face. lol venting.

| This is why DLC was a terrible thing to ever come about.
Sometimes, yes it's good. You get a finished game then LATER gets NEWLY created content. That's how all DLC should be. But now we have company's that take a already finished game and purposely lock in game content out so they could sell it, which is on all levels just wrong and screwing your customers over.
Worst part about it all is that people who don't buy DLC (I'm one) are the ones who's screwed over most by buying a incomplete game.
But it is how it is. Online has it's pluses, but it also brought it's fair amount of negatives with it.
Whatever, I still take going to a friends house and playing slit screen co-op over online any day of the week. XD

| Unfortunately that is how the gaming industry is leaning towards these days. Capcom has abused their fans support in the recent years which I do not approve of. I'm a big Capcom fan, but moreso an old school fan. | |

| Welcome to the club Empire!
I remember the good old days when you got these sort of "extra" characters for doing certain things in games.....now what was that called.....oh yeah unlockables. :3 too bad those days are over. I do like Mvc3/UMvC3 and Dead rising/2/OTR but this street fighter x tekken thing is just fucking retarded. You should not have to pay for stuff already on the disc but yet unlock those characters maybe. Oh well Capcom was good once.......and it is nice to know Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City blows more cock than I do too.

| Capcom has had annoying business practices since the 90s, dude. Remember $100 SF2 revisions, MvC2 being practically out of print and being ridiculous prices when you could find a copy, new fighting games and revisions with not even a year separating them, using old character models for the newer versions of the Marvel vs Capcom games and so on? Oh wait, how I can forget the 500 RE games and their revisions, too? Remember RE: Director's Cut and all of the extra versions of it? FOR A HORROR GAME? Yeah, it's not really different, but you're paying full price for those compared to the reduced price today. Seriously, nothing has really changed except Capcom has an awful PR department which causes a good half of the mess. As long as Capcom keeps making fun games, then people are going to keep buying them and that's what SFxT is, fun. The game already has 38 characters and costumes are completely cosmetic, so it's not like you're losing half of the game if you don't buy the DLC, it's not exactly shy of characters. - MulderYuffie wrote:

This only happened for characters in fighting games, you would rarely if ever find this for costumes as those were only in the action/adventure or RE games and they are still unlockables in those games currently which is annoying because RE5 has one of the most annoying unlocking gimmicks ever.

| Do the gems ruin SFxT? Because it looked really stupid when they first introduced them. | |

| No, the gems are actually very well balanced... okay, the default gems. Some DLC ones are pretty ridiculous, but Capcom's throwing out the gems for free and it's quite possible that certain gems won't even be released considering some gems operate on the "Take up five gem slots" rule and the five gem slots have been scrapped for the three gem slots.
Point is, gems are fine. Pandora is only good as a last resort, and cross assault is only good when you have a human partner.

| I'm quite surprised...but then again; Most if not all of Capcom's fighting games are fun these days. | |

| It's hilarious how opinions of this game flip-flopped. Before the weeks surrounding release, many tourney players and members of the fgc thought it was going to be awful and now they love the game. Meanwhile, most people who don't really play fighting games on a competitive or technical level thought it would be great because of its premise, but hate it now because of the DLC fiasco. Elsewhere, the FGC does not care about the DLC and will buy it because it's not like fighting games have ever really been a cheap hobby. | |

| People were like that too with MvC3 where MvC2 players weren't initially happy with 3 but it grew on most of them. | |
