Online passes need to be abolished

I hate them, I just do. These companies like Sony and Ubisoft need to get rid of these before they realize it could lead to slow sales because the restrictions of people who buy it used or borrow it from a friend. I can understand if the person got it from a friend but used? That sounds kinda BS. What happens if I don't buy the game now and 20 years later when the game still has that shitty pass and all the copies of that game are used, then I'll be fucked and can't play multiplayer or get DLC.

Sony, Ubisoft, Rockstar, Netherrealms and everyone else who use this pass system, end this now before it gets to the point I stop buying from you guys. Do you see EA doing this (I think they are) Do you see Activision doing this? Capcom?Konami?Nintendo? Hell even Microsoft knows this is retarded.

Capcom will likely be implementing this policy if they haven't already.

A lot of those game companies are under the false impression that the purchase and sale of used games hurts their company more than piracy does.

EA started the online pass thing. Sony is now doing it with certain games. Uncharted 3 is one of them. I don't think Capcom is doing it with UMvC3.

I don't like the pass thing either but i'm buying UMvC3 on release anyways soooooooo it won't really matter.....

It's funny because it doesn't affect pirates at all, just the paying customers.

They really do need to go.
