| Story:
Alright the story is based of Marvel's adaption of Norse Mythology which I generally enjoy. Marvel's adaptions of mythology/religion are usually very nice, and have very nice twists to them, and stay faithful especially to modern faiths. Well the story is this The Frost Giants tried to take over the nine worlds, Odin and Asgard stopped them, and now years later Odin wants a new king, he has two kids Thor, and Loki. Thor is the brash cool guy who does whatever, Loki is the smart intelligent one. Well during the war Odin confiscated the source of the Frost Giants power, and they want it back which leads Thor to get some of his friends and attack the Frost Giants, breaking some treaty they had. Lots happens after that considering they were adapting an adaption of an adaption in a 2 hour film the plot was solid, and amazing.
Characters: They had a good cast, they brought in Odin, Thor, Loki, Laufey, and all the important characters needed for a basic Thor film, and there adaption of Jane Foster, and her friends was very good as well. Foster's role in the film made sense, and her friends as well. Another good thing was the return of some characters from Iron Man 2 such as SHIELD agent Phil Couston, and of course Nick Fury who's appeared in every single Marvel film. Anyway amazing cast I think Loki should have had more time on screen to develop and to portray his jealousy, and show more of Thor's redemption for his reckless behavior but over all amazing plot.
Action:
The Action is superb, considering the special effects, and all the creatures they faced, it's nothing less then superb. It's action from start to finish and you know it's a good plot when there's action the whole movie yet you remember the film for the plot and not just the fight scenes. They did an amazing job with the battles especially the battle with the Destroyer.
Music:
To be honest I didn't pay that much attention to the soundtrack or rather it blended in so well it wasn't a distraction.
Overall:
A Two hour film it's amazin regular or 3D. Most people I meet loved the movie, I haven't met one critic and he hates everything. xD So I suggest watching it, it's about two hours a few minutes off, and it's nothing you'll regret. I'd give it a 9-10/10 rating.

| No wonder why people always consider comic films to be so good. Movie makers have practice a lot on them and as such, have gotten progressively better with them.
But in all seriousness, it should be interesting how this movie works.

| I want to know why Video game movies always fail (Besides the cheesy Mortal Kombat one) And also why the Comic books ones are so good (Besides some like Superman 3-Return and Batman and Robin) | |

| Oh did you have any fault with it?
And I'm gonna hopefully play the game, and they fail because you can't base the game completly off the movie since its a 2 hour plot with a few action scenes.

I agree with this. Saw it last night. I really liked it. The visuals were excellent, the action was quite good and Chris Hemsworth was really good for Thor. He was really badass. I loved the bits after he lost his power and was in the hospital. "How dare you attack the son of Odin!"
