Chapter 2
Meeting Diana Prince
And before The Mad Hatter knew it Diana Prince came in. The Mad Hatter had no idea that Wonder Woman returned in the apparence of Diana Prince.
DIANA: You must be The Mad Hatter.
THE MAD HATTER: Yes I am. And you are?
DIANA: I'm Diana Prince. Wonder Woman told me that you had hurt your back.
THE MAD HATTER: Are you and Wonder Woman close?
DIANA: Yeah were close.
THE MAD HATTER: How close?
DIANA: Closer than you think. Now Hatter please get some rest.
THE MAD HATTER: That's what Wonder Woman wanted me to do.
DIANA: Well she's right. Also like my mother always told me "When you hurt your sacroiliac stay in bed and rest your back."
THE MAD HATTER: That's funny.
DIANA: What's funny?
THE MAD HATTER: Wonder Woman said that exact same thing earlier before she carried me home from the palace.
DIANA: She did, did she?
THE MAD HATTER: Yes she did.
DIANA: Well it's like they always say...
THE MAD HATTER: What do they say?
DIANA: Great minds think alike.
THE MAD HATTER: How true that is.
DIANA: Now please get some rest and if you need me I'll be downstairs so just ring this bell when you need me. So try and not to need me too much.
THE MAD HATTER: Again that's what Wonder Woman said before she left.
Diana just smiled and went downstairs and when The Mad Hatter saw Diana leave he fell asleep. As soon as Diana walked outside she was greeted by Hatter's friends.
DIANA: Oh, hello, there. You must be The Mad Hatter's friends.
THE RED QUEEN: I'm The Red Queen. Who are you?
THE WHITE RABBIT: I'm The White Rabbit. And where is Wonder Woman?
DIANA: I'm Diana Prince. Oh, Wonder Woman had to leave.
THE MARCH HARE: I'm The March Hare. Why did she have to leave.
DIANA: Well she had places to be and people to save. Don't worry you'll see her again.
ALICE: When? Oh and I'm Alice.
DIANA: You never can tell when you'll see Wonder Woman again because she only comes when someone is in trouble. It's nice to meet you all. (to the Tweedles) Who are you two?
TWEEDLE DEE: I'm Tweedle Dee and this is my brother Tweedle Dum.
TWEEDLE DUM: Where's Hatter, Diana?
DIANA: (as she looks up at Hatter's window on the second story of his house) He's in bed asle-
Just then Diana heard Hatter ringing the bell. When she did she smacked her right hand against her forehead.
DIANA: Well I thought that he was asleep but I better go see what he needs.
So Diana went to go see what The Mad Hatter needed.
DIANA: You rang.
THE MAD HATTER: Yes I did.
DIANA: What do you want?
THE MAD HATTER: (reaching for an out-of-reach pillow) I can't quite reach this pillow.
DIANA: (picking up the pillow and putting behind Hatter) There you go. Now please get some sleep. Your back won't get better if you don't get any sleep.
When Diana was halfway down the stairs she heard Hatter ring the bell again.
DIANA: Now what does he want.
Diana went back to see what Hatter wanted again.
DIANA: You rang again.
THE MAD HATTER: I'm sorry to bother you once more but I'm afraid this (holding up a teapot) tea has grown cold.
DIANA: (taking the teapot from Hatter) I'll get you a freash pot.
THE MAD HATTER: Thank you so much.
DIANA: Don't mention it. Really don't mention it.
Diana went downstairs and asked The White Rabbit if he can make Hatter some more tea.
DIANA: Rabbit, Hatter's tea has grown cold and he wants it hot. If it were me I would put ice in the tea and have some iced tea.
THE WHITE RABBIT: Yes, I know. I'll be back in a jiffy with a hot pot of tea.
Before Diana knew it The White Rabbit was back with a hot pot of tea.
DIANA: That was fast.
Diana took the tea and went back up to Hatter.
DIANA: Here is your tea nice and hot. (thinking) Just like you.
THE MAD HATTER: Thanks, Diana.
DIANA: Now please get some sleep.
Diana kissed Hatter on the forehead and went back downstairs. After Diana went downstairs The Mad Hatter was still shocked that Diana kissed him on his forehead and with that he fell asleep. Back outside Diana sat back down at The Mad Hatter's tea table and put her head down on the table.
THE MARCH HARE: Are you ok, Diana?
DIANA: (looking up) I'm just a little worn out that's all.
ALICE: Worn out from what?
DIANA: From walking up and down those stairs while taken care of Hatter. Everytime I turn around he rings that damn bell.
THE MARCH HARE: He hasn't rang it for awhile now.
DIANA: That's because he's finally asleep. I thought that he'll never get to sleep.
Later that night Diana went upstairs to Hatter's room and since she was so tired she just fell down on to Hatter's bed and fell asleep. The Mad Hatter was fast asleep when Diana lied down next to him.
