It was amazing. You can't tell where the CGI began and ended it was so good, and only three things bothered me:
1. Unobtanium was the by far the LEAST creative name for a mineral ever.
2. It was the year 2154, and we STILL used machine guns? No lazers?
3. Blue people called the Na'vi. I half expected a "Hey, Listen!" the whole movie.

When I read the title, I immediately thought that this will be a rant about Water Bending being overpowered in Avatar: The Last Airbender. I was wrong and didn't see Avatar yet.

While I did enjoy the movie a lot, there were some things that bothered me.

-The CGI stuff, graphics and all were incredible. But the problem is that was the best part of the movie. The story itself was a lot to be desired. It was way too predictable. Don't get me wrong, I liked the story, but if you see past the great graphics, you can see that the story was flawed.

-It was confusing in many ways. You had to pick up a lot of what was really going on (moreso than Sherlock Holmes). They didn't explain shit except when they implied a lot of background stuff where you have to connect yourself. At least by the end you know what the hell was going on back there.

The machine guns are understandable. I mean, lazers aren't really necessary if the Na'vi had knives and wooden spears, etc.

The last movie I've seen in theater (Yes it's been nearly a year since I've went to a movie theater) and I have to tell you, it was amazing from my viewpoint. I liked just about everything in the film and the 3-D effects just boggled me. I was hoping for the movie to never end. Overall, I was not disappointed in the slightest.

I saw it in 2D but I thought it was very good and extremely well made, with a nice storyline.

Like a retard, I saw it in 3D with 2 other friends (35 dollars owch). I need to see it again to really critique it. But it was a very good movie and was living proof that Jame Cameron is the only man on Earth can use CGI and use it right.

It was one of the most cliché movies of ´09. If you think it had a great storyline, then you mustn't have seen many films.

Inglorious Basterds was so much better.

I must agree. The storyline was very cliché.
