Some repeat footage but this looks pretty good as it stands. Hoping it will be better than the older SM movies. Garfield looks like he'll play a better Spidey than Tobey. I never liked that guy except in Cats and Dogs lol.

O.O Saw this trailer at the beginning of the avengers movie, I must it looks pretty decent. I didn't have any problems with Toby but I wasn't fond of him either. I'd go see it once it releases.

I am syked for this, but I doubt it or TDKR will live up to the avengers... Guess we'll see!
I like that they are doing a reboot.... I liked the other spidey movies, but i'd like to see a fresh take on it...

Seeing this at midnight tonight. I don't think it will be anything special though IMO. I'm just seeing it because it's Spider-Man.

Might check this out, since I'm confident that this'll a massive improvement over the Toby Trio.

Toby may have been meh, but almost every other cast member of Spider-Man 1 and 2 were spot-on.

And the ones that were spot-on were only featured in one film. What does that say about the trilogy in general?

The first two were fine. And Alfred Molina was perfect as Doc Ock in the second film.

Okay, I just saw this. I'm neutral about the movie. They got Spider-Man's personality correct, but I didn't care too much for Andrew Garfield. I actually really liked Gwen Stacy in the movie so I thought Emma Stone did a good job for her as the lead female. Spider-Man's outfit was awesome looking. The Lizard looked terrible (like he was from a sci-fi TV show). The origin story also took too damn long for it to unfold. Overall, it wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible either.

Sounds like this'll be either a Blockbuster rental or uVerse On-Demand for me, then.

Just got back from seeing it. I liked it. Andrew Garfield was pretty decent to good for Spider-Man, especially when he did his cocky funny routines.

Are you sure the only reason you liked the movie was because it was Spider-Man? Andrew Garfield's performance was not very good. Anybody who knows a quality sense of acting would realize that. All he did right was Spider-Man's personality.

Did you really just subtly insult my opinion? His performance was a hell of a lot better than Tobey Maguire's.

I never once compared his performance to Tobey Maguire's. Are you doing what my other brother did and based how good of an acting job he performed because he was funny? That's no way to judge.

I thought he was okay normally. He was good in his Spidey form.

I saw it it was realy cool, Andrew has a good performance, much more intense then Toby's if you ask me, the action was also alot better then some other Spidey films
