| I pulled out the old NES today and it hasn't been working. When I turn it on, there are buzzing noises from the TV and sometimes a little pixelated mess. Is it busted or is it fixable? | |

| Is it dusty? Are the game cartridges dusty?
Try blowing both in, that always works for me.

| Maybe the room you are in is too cold or too hot, or it could be the TV if it's an HDTV. | |

| Perhaps. I am going to try it on my other TV as well. If that doesn't work, I may look for a new NES on Amazon or at Level Up Entertainment. | |

| It sounds more like a voltage issue, if your nintendo is making noises like that it could be a bad cerkit in the motherboard or the power adapter your useing are you useing a normal nes adapter or a 3 party one, because the nintendo needs a 120 volts power supply. | |

| Cable maybe?
I just had this happen on PS3 where the TV made a light buzzing sound, when I jiggled the video cable the image screwed up as well. Popped cable out of PS2, plugged it into PS3, problem was solved. (I'm using composite cables on a SDTV fyi)
The console comes on right? And you said it was your TV making the noise, so may be a bad AV cable.

| That to, When i had the problem it was a voltage problem but with my xbox it was a av problem so idk try and jiggle the cord and bit and see if it works or try a spare and if its the same then check your power supply. | |

| On a side note. This should be in the video game section. | |
