Apple and samsung patent lawsuit comes to a verdict

This Samsung and apple thing has been all over the news lately and the jury finally came to a verdict.

They only have to pay a billion dollars. Isnt that change out of these companies pockets?

A billion dollars is a billion dollars. That is a huge loss for anyone.

Samsung and Apple was going at each other? Over what?

Apple want a monopoly over tablets and touch screen phones so they can overcharge everyone so when Samsung started making them they got their panties in a twist.

lol but it's not like Samsung are the only ones. I'm not sure on tablets, but I believe Sony has touch screen phones on the market. What's Apple's plan, sue everyone that uses their concepts? Apple needs to wake up to reality, everything is ultimately copied, there's no stopping it.

Well I guess they figure that the longer they keep control, the better.

Didn't Microsoft introduce a tablet 10 years prior?
