| Starting tomorrow I will be posting comic book reviews on this thread. They won't be page long reviews at most between 1 or 2 paragraphs. If Wont mind if anyone wants to post other reviews as well. Whether it has to do with comics or something else they have read. | |

| Subject: Amazing Spider-Man issue #! August 31st 2012, 3:50 am | |
| Hella bored right now So decided to post my review today. The GoodIt's the first issue of spider-man and Marvel wanted to start this off on the right foot, so they decided to launch spider-man with the help of the fantastic four. Starting off where they left off after uncle ben's death spider-man now needs money to support his aunt May. Let's just say the hunt doesn't go well and that leads him to the fantastic four. An angry spider-man leaves once he hears it's a non-profit organization. Anyways later on in the issue he foils chameleon's plot to steal missile plans.[/u] The BadIn one part of the issue spider-man just happens to be at the launch site where John Jameson is going to be launched into space. I mean their was no reason for him to be there. I know they literally said he had nothing to do that day so he went, but that makes me believe they just wanted to add some extra pages of material for no reason. Anyways a malfunction happens and he has to save him which he does. In the end a good issue with some minor changes they could have done to make it better. A great start to an amazing hero. Issue 1 gets a 7/10

It's the first Amazing Spider-Man issue, but his first appearance and origin happened in Amazing Fantasy #15.

| Subject: Uncanny X-Men #1 September 2nd 2012, 12:50 am | |
| Back with another review and this time were reviewing Uncanny X-Men
The Good
The first issue debuted with not only one of their greatest villains but arguably the greatest villain of all time. Ranked number 1 on IGN's top 100 villain list (not that huge of a fan of IGN but still), magneto was a villain to do many great and disastrous things. Magneto's plot is to capture the base on cape citadel and of course it is the X-men job to stop them. The X-Men (members at the time included: jean grey/marvel girl, cyclops/scott summers, iceman/bobby drake and beast/henry mccoy)get informed of this plot by their leader Charles Xaiver and he also warns them this is the first of the evil mutants he has warned them about. A fight breaks out later on in the issue and Magneto winds up retreating.
The Bad
Not much bad in this issue, I just hated the way Iceman was drawn. They explain it later in a way to make sense, as to why he was like that but still. Also they had Magneto as a true villain in this, and that's not Magneot. He is kind of an anti-villain. He takes it to the extreme but the reader is suppose to understand why he would do these things. In the first issue I didn't feel that. They made him feel a little bit like a cliche take over the world villain. It wasn't so much about the cause as his own cause. It's the first issue so that's a slip up we can overlook and it is still a fantastic read.
A great read for it's time and an issue that will get referenced a lot in future issues, and it should be.
Magneto's debut gets a 9/10

| "Modern" Magneto wouldn't start coming around until around 1982. | |

Yeah I know but I'm a fan of having a villain be a certain way from the beginning. Not really anything huge just pointing it out.
