already read this article but according to cheap ass gamer Gamestop is doing a huge sale on alot of their PS2 games to clear them out and hardly any games are being released for it same goes for the PSP sadly. I am however not suprised the PS3 is still going to be supported until at least 2015 given their 10 year system support deal.

PS1 kept selling after PS2 was released.
PS2 kept selling long after PS3 was released.
Yea PS3 might be supported until 2015, but I will be very, VERY surprised if it's going to be Sony's only console on the market. Chances are they'll have PS4 out before PS3 is discontinued. Sony's track record heavily suggests it.
