Who's stronger:

Gohan after Frieza is defeated and they're waiting for Goku to return home or Trunks when Future Gohan is training him? Vega and myself discussed this one.

Manga Trunks was already SSJ during that time soooooo....

Heh. Well let's go by the anime for once Kai.

I say Gohan. The "almost SSJ" argument is invalid. In the future, Gohan turned SSJ when Piccolo and Krillen died. Trunks turned SSJ when Gohan died. So saying that Gohan isn't as powerful because Trunks could turn SSJ and almost did while training is invalid.

That being said, Gohan has more experience fighting. He also knows more techniques. Trunks had no one to train with. He's much like Gohan in the Buu Saga before Chou power up. Gohan has trained by himself to learn survival for a half year and trained with Piccolo for a half year. He also had his power unlocked on Namek.

He also knows the Masenko, a move that Vegeta had to dodge. Trunks knew....how to fly. Wow, that's some accomplishment.

Going by the Anime, most likely Trunks.
