| I think Enies Lobby is horrible with the exception of a couple scenes. It's the closest the series has come to being bland DBZ/Bleach action (and therefore is unsurprisingly the most popular arc) and it isn't very pretty.
The Water 7 portion is still top tier though together with Alabasta and Arlong.

| Enies Lobby wasn't as good as what neighbored the arc. Water 7 was infinitely better. | |

| When they described Enies Lobby, I expected it to be a lot darker in appearance than it turned out to be... | |

| Enies Lobby is just a clusterfuck of battle after battle after battle. I like the Elbaf stuff and Gear Second pwnage against Blueno. I also like the fact that Zoro has been extremely helpful since they left Water 7. | |

| I sort of liked the epic free for all at the beginning of EL. Robin's flashback and the events immediately after are some of the best in the series too. It doesn't become a disaster until the one-on-one battles that are full of DEM and PIS. | |

The beginning was fine but then it started getting annoying when they were getting nowhere fast because of how much was going on at once. And then Luffy vs Blueno got put off for a while and then ended up being 4 minutes tops after Luffy was magically as strong as Blueno prior to Gear Second. I think Zoro's sense of direction may possibly be getting worse over time.

No, because Luffy said on the sea train that he's been training and that he wants to try out a new technique. Gear 2nd/3rd also seem like logical extensions of Luffy's rubber powers (pumping up his blood flow/bones). Sanji putting his leg on fire though? Zoro duplicating into three??? lolno.

| Sanji's Diable Jambe can sort of make sense if you stretch it enough. Him being a cook and using heat in combination with his attacks. Zoro's Asura, not so much. | |

Sanji putting his leg on fire though? Zoro duplicating into three??? lolno. At least in the subbed anime he said that he had a new technique. He might have said he was training in the manga, but I dunno. Although the straw hats have progressively been getting stronger by the voyage. Ever since Zoro cut through Mr. 1, he's been getting more and more insanely powerful for someone without a devil fruit.

| Robin's back story was amazing. Oda is the greatest back story writer for manga ever. Seriously, every single Straw Hat has an awesome and compelling story behind them. | |

Neither his clothes nor his leg were even singed a bit. And it hasn't been stated or shown that Sanji has any training in pyrotechnics. Just being a cook wouldn't be enough.

Ah, I see. You're right about that. I can see why Zoro would have an ability named Asura but the ability is like wtf.

| It is a pretty abstract ability. I guess they figure he uses three swords instead of one, so let's triple that again! | |

| I'm almost finished Enies Lobby. Ranking the CP9 members from my favorite to least favorite, I'd say...
1: Lucci 2: Jyabura 3: Kumadori (Yoyoi!) 4: Kalifa 5: Blueno 6: Kaku 7: Fukuro 8: Spandam
This is obviously not including Nero, the pigeon, Spandine, the elephant and the former CP9 members.

Kaku was fine until half way into his Giraffe mantra. Then he got boring and annoying. But you gotta love Kumadori.

| I guess Cocoro being a mermaid kinda makes sense being with Tom.
OK, Oda, the Going Merry coming to save the Straw Hats was pretty cool and all, but WTF?
