| Face it, in any game, there's a shit ton of enemies. However, one in particular would be your worst nightmare in each game. List one in each game you've played. Note that bosses do not count.
Pikmin 2: Waterwraith. These guys don't know when to give up. They will run you over, kill your Pikmin, and are almost invincible. Oh, and they'll appear when you don't want them to appear. It was a hard choice to make between these bastards, the Wollywogs, Bulbears (not to be confused with Bulborbs) and Anode Dweevils.
EDIT: Waterwraiths can be defeated, but they require purple Pikmin to be thrown at him and then he solidifies. Then you can beat the shit out of him. Nevertheless, they're still a bitch to put up with.
Red Dead Redemption: Grizzly Bears. Do I need to say anymore? They lurk in the mountains, if they attack, they don't give you anytime to get up and shoot his ass, they make the cougars look like crows.
Almost every Mario game: Lakatus. Throw a spineys down, stalk you, kill you.
Megaman 1: Big Eye. Those things jump and if they land on you, half of your health is gone. There are many variations of this foe, but the original takes the cake. Oh, I forgot to mention, they jump whenever and however they want.
Sonic 2: Shellcrackers. Found in Metropolis zone and boy do they piss me off. They have the nerve to be placed right in a small area where there is no room to jump. Therefore, he hits you by extending his claw out. Jumping on him well... You'd be lucky to hit him.
I'll update if I have more.

| Perhaps it's a bit less the enemies themselves than the situation they appeared in, but goddamn these motherfuckers pissed me off. Right before the final boss in KH1, they come in such a massive horde that it's extremely difficult to chip down one's lengthy HP bar while the others are unmercifully coming at you with their powerful attacks. Plus, they keep appearing and appearing in seemingly endless numbers, and you have to defeat every single one to progress-and if you die, you have to start all over. Throw a few Angel Stars into the mix, and you have just one huge nightmare. | |

| Final Fantasy X: Anything in Omega Ruins, namely the Great Malboro and Demonolith. Those two enemies usually meant instant game-over unless you were prepared, especially when you are trying to complete the ruins quickly. | |

| Paper Mario: Clefts. They are practically invincible.
If I think of more, I'll post them.

| Fallout New Vegas: Cazadors. Every time I run into a hive of Cazadors I get pretty scared. Bitches be worse than Deathclaws.
Uncharted 2: Guardians. They are fucking tanks, incredibly hard to kill these motherfuckers with anything but the crossbow.

When you time it perfectly killing the crab can feel so awesome. I assume you're talking about the crab since it only has the cllaw that extends. Personally the Mantis pisses me off more. Because I tend to run through metropolis in quite a hurry and can for some reason time the crab jump but the mantis ALWAYS gets me.

| Gao troopers aren't as bad. You just have to headshot them a few times with the Dragon and they go down. Also because they're not as fast, and you can stun them with grenades. | |

But I always found that I apparently died more from the damn Shellcrackers then I did from the mantises.
