| Now, I don't expect this to be the biggest debate since boxers vs briefs, but merely just what people prefer for a computer. Obviously, we've established the PC vs Mac debate, but now, the biggest question: Desktop computers vs laptop computers.
My choice is desktops. Now, im not against laptops nor do I hate them as I have a netbook and a iBook G4. Reason being is that desktops can be customized to your liking. If you need to replace a part, no problem. Parts for desktops are easy to find and easy to install (if you know what you're doing). With laptops, parts are expensive, hard to find, hard to replace without proper training, and cannot be customized. Plus, I have this fear of losing a laptop or breaking it and having to replace it by sending out for a part thus be without a laptop for a while (or if I have to get it repaired by someone). I go desktop any day.

| Laptops. I have no need for a whole lot of customization yet. Maybe when I get into some more advanced computer programming, I might customize a tower or something. | |

For the most part, I tie laptops and desktops, but I think desktops are better by a slight hair.

| Desktops by far.
The only plus of a laptop is the portability of it, and mine doesn't even do that any more. D:

| Laptops feel more personal. And they're handy and you can take them anywhere. But Towers a more secure. This is a freaking hard one.
