The Sony PSP NGP has been announced. I found this out while I was at gamestop.com. It has cameras, 3G, GPS, Motion Sensors and more. Looks like the 3DS will be getting some tough competition if you ask me. (NGP is a code name)

It won't be $1,000.
Sony knows what it's like to have a successfully selling system (AKA PS2), and they know what it's like have a overpriced system selling at a major loss (AKA Early PS3's). They would have to be retarded to trace their steps with the PS3 and ask $1,000 for this thing. I expect it will be in the price range of the 3DS, possibly slightly higher, but in a similar range.

They'll lose money putting the price around the 3DS'. Looking at all the perks from that second link, it should be roughly $500+.

Now sony's going to be missing the huge holiday season. Well at least they'll have more time to improve the system and get better launch games.
I agree with the move. Japan will be our beta testers pretty much and we'll get a better more stable system when it comes out in America. If they launched PS Vita around the holidays, they might spread themselves out too thin. They are focusing on PS3 this time around and it's going to be incredible.
