Meta Knight now banned for standard tournament rules.

Discuss. IMO, it's retarded, despite how good Meta Knight is. You have no idea how many hours people put into their character. I wonder though. Has MK become that good while I've been away from the scene? He was tolerable still when I played competitively.

Not many people I fought against didn't play as MK anyways but still pretty weird....

I'm looking on Smashboards and most people are happy about the ban. Except people who main Meta Knight obviously. Meta Knight is not unbeatable. I still don't think it's necessarily a great idea.

It's unorthodox but hey it's a fun game and there's a lot of meta game involved.

A fair point, but there are a lot of people that suck at real fighting games and resort to Smash because you don't have to do quarter circle forward shenanigans.
