does anyone else find them annoying and unnecessary? like they think we're sooooo stupid we need to be told when something's funny?

i have my older favorites that contain them like married with children, seinfeld, king of queens, etc... but when it comes to todays sitcoms, i prefer the sarcastic humor and laugh trackless stylings of community, 30 rock, parks and recreation, workaholics, the office, etc...

new shows with laugh tracks turn me off...

To be honest, I'm so used to hearing the laugh track that I usually don't notice unless they are spamming the laugh track over and over (There are a few newer sitcoms infamous for that).
