47% of this board doesn't care about politics as they are government leeches who will vote for Obama anyway.

That wasn't a shot at the forum. That was actually a snipe at Mitt Romney in regards to a comment he made during a fundraiser.

However, he's right. About 47% of Americans do not pay any income taxes. Some of those people do pay payroll taxes. The rest who pay neither are either elderly, impoverished, disabled, etc.
It was a touch harsh, but at its core, it's true. The debate is whether or not the people that do not pay income and/or payroll taxes are indeed, as Kaio said, leeches who refuse to do anything for themselves. Either by falsified records or what have you.

Well, that was entertaining. I have to say objectively that Biden did better. I don't think Ryan did horrible, but he did way too little answering and seemed to skip over the bigger picture. For instance, when the lady told the story about the soldier that spoke about breaking each other down instead of building each other up. Biden used about half of that time to speak about the building and half about breaking. Ryan used his entire thing about breaking down the Obama administration, skipping the entire point.
On to watch the President debate after a quick snack.

I could not get over Biden's incessant giggling. What was so funny, Mr. Vice President?
I'm still not sure what was worse. This, or Obama's blatantly obvious anger when Mitt Romney was directly challenging his policies.

I can only recall one instance where Paul Ryan interrupted Biden, and that was to clarify a point. Biden was just doing it to be rude.

That was definitely the worst facet of Biden's performance. Overall I think he came with better arguments and did more answering with more specifics. It was a decently fought battle by Ryan though and the margin wasn't huge.
But that said, Romney definitely edged out Obama in the Presidential debate.

I don't think so. I think the whole debate came off like this: Paul Ryan was a son who's embarrassed of his father and is trying to tell his father how out of step his father has become. He was trying to do it with respect. He was trying to do it without offending or embarrassing his dad, but he was trying to tell his dad the world has passed him by. I think Paul Ryan had a lot more facts by his side. Biden only had the volume of his own voice. And the moderator's, for that matter.

Sorry, I have to interrupt to say that I respectfully disagree.
Jokes aside, Ryan used heartwarming stories and a lot of talking time to try to sway opinions. When it came to a few big issues, he vaguely answered a lot of questions. Biden mentioned it a few times as "loose talk" which is true in part I think. That seemed to be a recurring theme between the two of them that they have a general plan that isn't as precisely explained as what people are looking for. I understand their rationale, wanting to do things like Reagan. Reaganomics was a huge part of our economic growth and I get that. But I do think they need a little more detail in their plans in order to truly sway the people to their side.

Ryan's comments may have been marginally vague, but Biden was too difficult to take seriously with all that giggling, and the rude comments and insults he made. In particular, when Biden berated Ryan for mentioning JFK's economic policies, I sat there and said to myself, "You and Obama have been shunning all of JFK's words for about two score. You've got no place to be calling Ryan out on that."
When a wise person debates with a fool, the fool rages and laughs, and there is no peace and quiet.
