Actually answering the question: I'd say any pokemon can be the best with training, the right moveset, and of course an ActionReplay/Gameshark/CodeBreaker (even Magikarp)

Mewtwo is one of the best. I have to say Charizard up there. I mean, he did almost beat Entei (until it got unfair)

Mew and Mewtwo are the most powerful if you ask me

in the first gen. Mewtwo was the best, better then he is now (bcause the best SE move on him was twinneedle, and Sp. Atk and Sp. Def the same stat, and only normal and fight hit regular def (i think)). Now he can get owned by darkrai, or dialga, or something.

Dragonite is the best. Way better than mewtwo.

Then Arceus, then Mewtwo, I think it is awesome.

Not sure about the strongest but I know my favourite Pokemon was and will forever be Mew Two. Man I feel like watching the movie all over again. *Shrug*
