"I know the basics, but I just know from ATVs" Hannah replies "You're driving. Dusty Crossroads Convenience" she says the name.

Meanwhile, Seer hasn't gotten word of the increase, or an email. It would appear that the government is covering it up to keep him on edge.

"Alright then, lets get going." Katie and Hannah grab their gear and head to the bus. When they got settled in Katie got took to the drivers seat, it was a bit intimidating at first, just the sheer size of driving something this big. Katie started the engine, life was full of new experiences and this just happened to be one more. They set off towards there destination"

Hannah isn't even looking out a window, she's sitting, the other dresses with her. Obviously not the one Katy has. She appears to be deep in thought

Meanwhile, Jamie is already waiting for them.

After a while the girls arrive at their destination. Katie parks the bus and turns back to Hannah. "Hey we're here" she says.

She just nods, not mentally ready for this yet. But she knows it has to be done, getting up and putting the outfits down. "We have a day...I think"

"A day huh. What will we do during that time?" Katie asked.

Ken: What should we do now?
Hinata: I think that we should try to track down my friends, Katie and Hannah.
Ken: Who are they?
Hinata: They are fellow gifted that I was previously were running with before I met you. You probably might know Hannah as the Maid of Destruction.

The sound of the name causes Ken to shutter slightly.

Hinata: Do you have problems with that?
Ken: I never thought that I would be dealing with so many of the top ten at once. I will get right on it.

"Relax while you can" is the answer Katy gets, Hannah not even looking up

"Sounds like your expecting a rough time ahead of us" Katie commented. "Well I might throw in a bit of training before dark. You would be interested in being a sparring partner would you?" Katie had realized Hannah must be going through something, she'd been at the back of the bus and in the same spot, staring at the outfits the entire trip. Katie felt she wanted to help Hannah, at least take her mind off her worries for a while. But she was still afraid enough to not really want to push anything on the other girl."

"I'm not interested in training right now" She says. It's clear that she's worried. She lost her friends and bandmates before, now Zaria is missing.

Katie signs and takes a seat near Hannah. She wasn't sure if this was her place to ask or how Hannah would respond, but she had to at least try. "Hannah, I know I haven't been with you guys very long, but what's going on? I ask a lot of questions, but it's not because I'm a idiot, it's because I'm trying to be polite. I'm new to your group and still learning about fighting and powers while you and Zaria are among the top 10 in the world. It's intimidating for me to try to voice my opinion. But it's getting to the point where I gotta ask. Hannah you've been getting increasingly distant and vague in your answers, your distracted and clearly something is wrong.

It's time to level with me girl. Tell what's wrong, what's on your mind and why we're out here. Stop with the secrecy. We're partners, I'd like to be able to consider you my friend. But you need to start being level with me and stop keeping me in the dark. Help me Hannah, help me so that I can at least try to help you."

Katie knew Hannah was keeping her in the dark to maybe try to protect her in some way, but what was that really doing? Katie had little to no idea what was going on, one friend had been gone for days and other felt like she was giving Katie the cold shoulder. She was getting fed up being out of the loop, Hannah looked distressed and Katie wanted to help her, but didn't understand how as Hannah wouldn't say anything.

"We're meeting somebody that can help, that's all I'm willing to say right now" Hannah says. She needs time on her own, at least for now.

Well that attempt at getting through to Hannah was a complete bust. "Very well, have it your way. Look, if you ever do need somebody to talk to, I'm here for you. Remember your not alone. I'll be outside if you need anything." Katie tried and failed, she wasn't going to risk pushing Hannah to hard and upsetting her, so it was time to just let things go for now. Katie left the bus, it wasn't to bad a day out to get some practice in. She just hoped Hannah was alright.

A few days have passed by the time Ken turns up anything.

Ken: Hinata, I think I might have a lead.

Hinata walks in.

Hinata: What is it?
Ken: I was looking into recent news stories and saw a strange bank robbery. The culprits used a flamethrower to hold off the cops. Then they just disappeared separately without a trace.
Hinata: Why is that strange? Do you think that the flames were coming from Hannah?
Ken: Look for yourself.

He shows her some footage of the heist. After a few minutes, Hinata sees something.

Hinata: That looked like it could be her, and her helper used water to disrupt the electronic lock. So it is very likely that they are who we are looking for, but that was a few days ago. Hannah would stay close to there for very long. That is a good start, but we need to find something more stable.

Katie was doing some training on her own. She had hoped Hannah was doing OK, after failing to get the other girl to open up Katie did all she could do, and gave Hannah her space. Hannah concerns was justified, Katie couldn't help but wonder herself what had happened to Zaria.

Jamie walks up to Katy, just giving a "follow me" motion. Meanwhile, Hannah is waiting for him, feigning shopping. Hannah wasn't doing good, but not terrible.

Katie assumed this must of been who Hannah was was waiting for. The guy could of at least said hello, regardless Katie decided to follow him.

Jamie did the hand signal strategically. He knew there were agents in the general area, so he quickly brought Katy to the store.

"Hello there" he says to Katy

"Hi. I assume you must be the one we are waiting for?" Katie questioned. This exact situration is why Katie disliked Hannah being so secretive, Katie didn't even have a name. She just knew somebody was coming.

"Yes. Let's head inside" he says, bringing Katie to Hannah

"Jamie Sullivan" he says, finally introducing himself, keeping a good lookout

"Katie Holmes. Pleasure to meet you Jamie. So what's the situation?"

Katie noticed Jamie seemed on alert."

"Nothing major, just making sure we aren't watched" Jamie replies "I've been keeping you alive, Katie. Because this world is corrupt and I want to help. I was part of that corruption, and I refuse to be part anymore."

"You've been keeping me alive?" Katie wasn't quite sure what to make of that comment, has this guy been watching over her for... who knows how long? "Um, what exactly did you mean by that comment?"

"The military sent a whole squad for you, I sent half to the werewolves." Jamie starts "The condiments were going to get you in the hospital, and thus in high security jail, or dead."

Hannah then speaks up "He travels to the future, for a few seconds, and sees a tragedy happen. I just wish he stopped the one involving me in time."

"If I may ask, why? Why be my guardian angel in a sense for all this time, is it just the kindness of your heart or is there other reasons?" Katie couldn't help there was more to Jamie watching over her then simply helping a girl in need.
