Premise:
The government has become afraid of humans with superpowers. They started capturing every "mutant" they could find, including superheroes. The superhero team "New Hope" got betrayed by Raven who is now working for the government, mutants are getting captured left and right, this could be the end. However, thanks to Seto Slade and Malik Blishtar, mutants have hope. The two mutants formed the Mutant Defense Corps (MDC for short) and provide refuge. However, the government is getting onto them. It is do or die, the mutants need to act to get imprisoned. Untrained mutants facing trained government soldiers, this could go bad for the mutants. Perhaps the hiding superheroes can help. This is the last moment...the last moment for action.

Ok ok...the serious rules:

1. NO GODMODDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!!!!! Godmodding is the #1 killer of RPs, followed closely by inactivity. If any character godmods to survive something completely impossible (unless it's counter-godmodding...that is the only way godmodding is allowed), myself or Zero will handle it.

2. No characters with unfinished character sheets are allowed. I will not make everything be filled out, just the marked stuff. This is to prevent random power gaining, and unknown weaknesses. However, you are allowed to state that only Character X knows Character Y's Weakness.

Example:
Superman's weakness is Kryptonite. However, only Batman knows of this weakness.

3. If ANYBODY has a problem within the RP, do not post it on the forum. Instead PM myself or Zero (whoever is on, if nobody is on PM me).

4. ONLY ACCEPTED CHARACTERS ARE TO BE PUT INTO THE RP UNLESS THEY HAVE NO POWERS!!!! This is to avoid people making 20 characters just to make one character look epic or become stronger. However, if it is a character with a power that is being killed as a plot device it is allowed. Characters are to be accepted by myself or Zero.

5. DO NOT CREATE YOUR OWN STORYLINE! Having 5 different story lines makes everything confusing and fucked up. Instead, you can create villains. A general storyline must be kept in order if a RP to stay alive.

6. If a character develops/gains new powers/skills, you MUST edit the character sheet before using them. This is to prevent unknown abilities rising.

7. Follow rules 1-6 and have fun. Perhaps the most important rule. If you aren't having fun, there is no point. If you follow this rule, there will be no problems.

He can copy his opponent's moves and read them perfectly (as long as they are in his power limitation i.e he can't control lightning so he can't copy a lightning attack). He can effectively see through strategies and come up with counter-measures quickly.

Bio: Not much is known about Erona's past life. He keeps it in the dark from everyone. What we do know, is that he became a stock trader and investor at the age of 18. Using his Sharingan, he was able to read every move his opponents were taking in the investing route and outdid them all. He soon became one of the top richest people. He now invests and trades, making more and more money. He recently joined the MDC for undisclosed reasons.

Bio: Has been surviving for ages thanks to his regenerative abilities. Survivor of countless wars and massacres. A man who refuses to speak about his past.

Powers: Magnetism - Ken has control over the electromagnetic fields in the earth. He can't create electricity yet. Metal plates around his body and implanted into his body allow him to magnetically fly.

Peak human abilities - Using magnetic pulses inside his body, Ken can push his body to great heights, giving him peak human abilities.

Strengths: Strong body due to metal infused in him, can rely on his own strength and manipulate the battlefield easily.

Weaknesses: Without metal around the area, there isn't a ton that Ken can do other than manipulate things inside himself.

Bio: Ken was a mutant by birth. When he was 12, he was in a grave car accident where they had to infuse his body with steel because of how fragile he was. His powers awoke during the accident where he crushed the car that had smashed the car he was in and made it explode. He now works for the Mutant Defense Corp.

Is there still interest in this. I may join and reuse a few characters, namely Troy (fire) and Sandra (telekintic). The way this rp is I'll probably avoid others, some characters tend to be to easy to overpower.

Strengths: Able to dodge a lot of attacks, can attack or defend with his waves, skilled in many ways.

Weaknesses: Overusing super speed can cause Raven to become fatigued and even cause him to fall ill. Raven's health isn't the best and often becomes sick. This directly affects his ability to fight.

Bio: Raven grew up as a terminally ill child. When he met the leader of the government, he/she (Will edit later) found a temporary cure for Raven's illness. Though he falls back into it every now and then, it doesn't immediately threaten his life. In exchange, he/she recruited Raven's talents and taught him how to fight. He infiltrated the New Hope and was an inside man for them for a while. After some time, he sold them out to the government and returned at the leader's side. He seeks a permanent cure from the leader in exchange for his talents once more.

Bio: Elena is the older brother of Erona. Because Erona had powers and she didn't, she was envious of him. When Erona forged his own path and did not follow his sister, she disowned him and fought her way to the top of the military and became its strong leader. She hates mutants and wants to now eradicate them or their powers under the guise of wanting to lock them up. She doesn't seem to mind Raven, though.

Skills*: No trained skills to speak of, however is effective brawler and can adopt to using anything he gets his hands on as a weapon.

Weapons*: No permanent weapon to speak of.

Powers*: Generates/manipulates fire - Is capable of creating varying sizes fire blasts, or simply creating a flame for any intended purpose. The fire can be used as outright attacks or to trigger explosions/blazes.

Strengths*: Troy can use his flames to cause immense damage if given the opportunity by doing such things as igniting a cars gas tank, or igniting a building or gas station. He also has a natural resistance to heat and is virtually fire proof thanks to the power which he wields.

Weaknesses*: He is weakest around water as it can doze his flames, maybe even prevent him from summoning fire at all if he's emerged in water (swimming or drowning for example). Coldness makes him require more effort to use his flames, but won't stop him completely under most circumstances.

Bio: Troy was a man who took what he wanted, anyone getting in his way was dealt with. He kept to himself constantly traveling the world being wanted in some stats. When the government started hunting mutants, Troy eventually found himself backed into a corner. Realizing he would die alone, he did the only thing he could do, he turned to the mutant defense corps, not so much for helping others (which he now finds himself doing), but more so to save his own ass.

Bio: Sandra lived a well off live having lots of money with her father working within the government. That didn't stop her however from being a active girl, even opting to go to public school to make friends instead of private school. After her telekinetic powers started to rise, Sandra's parents did everything they could to hide the fact. Eventually being found out the government considered it betrayal that they was not told and put the family under assumption that they had allied themselves with the Mutant Defense Corp's. As a SWAT team was sent to capture the family, Sandra's father created enough of a distraction that Sandra was able to slip away through a hidden exist, however both her parents was ultimately captured, leaving her alone and looking for help before she to is captured as well.

Bio: Malik grew up in an apartment building in New York City. Due to a lack of kids in the apartment building in the business disctrict, Malik had to make due with becoming friends with Sarah and Maria West. Malik spent a lot of time fixing computers and televisions for people in the apartment building but still made time to play with Sarah and Maria. Malik discovered his power when he was 13 and in school. He told a kid named Steve to fight a bully that was picking on Steve. Steve did so and won the fight. After Malik turned 20, Sarah and Maria's parents got killed in a big car accident. Malik took them in because he was the closest person to a relative that they had left. When Malik turned 22, Seto came to him with an interesting offer to help him run the MDC. Malik accepted with the condition that Maria and Sarah join with him, which worked for Seto too. Malik now teaches Maria what she would learn in school (and more) in his spare time to make up for her having to leave early.

Levitation - Ability to make objects levitate using her mind. Maria mainly uses this to fly on her broomstick. Power will stop working if she loses her concentration for long enough (i.e. getting hit by a surprise attack). The heavier the object(s), the more concentration it takes.

Strengths: Able to fight from a distance, naturally talented with weapons, can use opponents weaknesses against them once she finds them out

Weaknesses: No close combat experience, no experience fighting with weapons

Bio: Maria grew up with Sarah as the daughters of Mayor Adam West. Maria lived a good life in the apartment building and was good friends with Malik Blishtar. She made some friends in school but would put Malik first because he was her first real friend. Maria was in her first year of middle school and doing great with Malik's help with what she didn't understand. However, one day while staying after to make up a test, Maria saw her parents pulling up to the school to pick her up. Suddenly a drunk driver in a truck swerved into them and caused a large accident. Her parents died at the scene. Maria was excused from school to have time to recover and find a guardian due to a lack of relatives. Luckily Malik Blishtar took Maria (and Sarah) into his care so that they wouldn't be sent to the streets. Maria talked to Malik about the crash for a while and had nightmares but quickly got over it with his help. Malik told Maria about what the Government was doing and had her join the MDC as a requirement of him helping run it. Maria now gets taught by Malik when they have spare time to make up for having to leave school. Maria accidentally found out about her powers when she made Malik levitate and then turned off the electricity while reading a latin book (spellbook) before they joined the MDC.

Bio: Sarah grew up with Maria as the daughters of Mayor Adam West. Sarah lived a good life without knowing that she is a mutant until she realized she could speak and understand other languages without trying, and was good friends with Malik Blishtar. When she was a senior in high school, she became friends with people wanting to make a rock band. Due to her singing skills and guitar skills, she got in. The band is known as Losing Ground has the members Sarah West (22, female, lead vocals/guitar), Kyoku Yoshi (20, male, bass guitar/backup vocals), Jenny Sturn (21, female, keyboard/dj), Amir Hawk (19, male, guitar) and Jesse Jacobs (22, male, drums) (ages are current). However, soon after the band was formed and won the school talent show, Sarah's parents got in a big car accident and died at the scene. The band suspended play for 2 months to give Sarah time to recover and find a guardian due to a lack of relatives. Luckily Malik Blishtar took Sarah (and Maria) into his care so that they wouldn't be sent to the streets. Malik told Sarah about what the Government was doing and had her join the MDC as a requirement of him helping run it but told her she can play with her band if she keeps her status with the MDC low-profile.

Skills: Strong in weapon combat, good alchemic knowledge, strong leadership skills

Weapons: Anything he transmutes.

Powers: Alchemy. He can change the chemical makeup of just about anything by merely touching it and thinking in his head what he wants said object to change into. Can not create matter, so say if he wanted to make a spear out of a small 2 inch piece of wood, he couldn't. He'd need enough mass to change the wood into a spear. He can also deconstruct matter, provided he knows what the substance is.

Bio: Zeik grew up to a military family that hates mutants. When they found out he is a mutant, they quickly disowned him and he went to a foster family. He knew Elena Tetra corrupted his family's thoughts and wanted to get revenge and prove them wrong. In doing so, he joined the MDC but also used his military background to get into the army. Working his way through the ranks, he eventually became part of Elena's army. During a mission in to defeat a group of bandits terrorizing citizens, Zeik became friends with a mutant Yanou Hado. Yanou was about to be killed when Zeik stepped in front of the bandit and grabbed the bandit's sword, cutting his hands and wrists in the process. The bandit was surprised and struggled to gain ground on Zeik, which gave some other militia enough time to shoot him in the head. Zeik bandaged up his hands and told Yanou to seek out Seto if he ever needed help or a place to stay.
