I'm Going to Start a Video Let's Play of Fire Emblem

Since my text based one got messed up, I'm gonna restart and do it video based. I will be commentating live and see how many views I can get for them on YouTube. Should be fun.

Looking forward to it. I guess that means I have to get off of my ass and do my own videos. XD

This won't be a Team Mystic thing, just so you know. I want to see if it catches on for my own channel. I don't know if Team Mystic will ever launch in full effect.

I kind of figured that. Though I still want to do LPs for myself. I just need to get motivated to do so. Lol.

While that's true, Ryu, I figure I have to get more comfortable doing these kinds of things anyway. I've had to do audio commenting in college, and I have to constantly cut and edit in order to be clear and not stammer and the likes. I figure if I can have more practice, I'll naturally get better.

Ok. Just figured I'd ask because I know you scrapped this very same idea before because of that reason.

FUCKIN VBA HAS TO LAG SO BADLY WHEN I RECORD. It never did this before and I'm on an incredible operating system. I am so fucking sick of technology constantly failing me when I need it most.

Are you running VBA on your Mac or on a PC?

I have to run it on my Windows 7. But still, I hardly use the Windows 7, it should be almost new. The funny thing is that it worked fine on my Vista laptop and my Windows 7 PC.

I have to figure a way to record on Mac. I have a VBA emulator for Mac that I just got, but it doesn't do AVI recording or any type of recording. I need a clear screen recorder that's free that also records the output audio.

Camstudio might be your best bet, probably. That, or if you want to shell out the $37, FRAPS

Camtasia seems to work great, but it's only a free trial...for now at least hehe.

I would have done it already had I not run into another roadblock. This one shouldn't be too hard if my theory is correct. You know how it is with me and roadblocks at every corner.

Is there anything that you try to do that doesn't have a bunch of roadblocks?

Not really, no. Nothing's ever easy on me lol.

This will be great. I suggest you do 7 then 6 one right after another. Maybe get some guest commentary if you can get it to work out with skype and having the other person see what you are doing.
