| Nothing at all has been changed since I have used this router and or my newish laptop but as of last night my TRENDnet router does not want to work it is either giving me "Limited" connectivity or none at all. Only Status and WAN were lit up green and now only Status is blinking and my router doesn't even show up as being able to even try to connect to it. I've tried unplugging and replugging in everything and waited overnight. I've tried to go to my default gateway status page but it says I need some kind of username or password and even resetting the router does not help with any of these problems. I am using a windows 8 laptop and the TRENDnet model is TEW 432 BRP. My WEP key was and always has been the same too. Nothing has changed besides loss of connection now I can't go online on my laptop , PS3 , Wii or PSP I am currently using a borrowed connection from a friend next door. any help please? | |

| You know what, the same shit has happened to me with Netgear. We never did find out what the problem was, but it did it every now and then. Thankfully it has stopped for now.
Try this out though: http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/topic/285240-limited-or-no-connectivitythe-network-did-not-assign-a-network-address-to-this-computer/

Still haven't got it fixed trying what they specificed maybe i'll get lucky messeing around with the settings. It usually fixes itself this rarely happens MAYBE once either 2 months or so and usually fixes itself within a day or even an hour or two longest time was 3 days the router is 2 1/2 years old. Did yours sort itself out eventually i'm guessing?

| I was wondering if someone here could link me to a decent wireless router to use for laptops , PS3 , Vita , Wii , 3DS and DS that is less than $40 as my current router completely went out? Prefer Amazon or Newegg links. Would hate to get one that doesn't even support PS3 and Vita. | |

There's two from the brand that I use. Netgear is pretty good. The only thing I haven't been able to get working is DS Wifi but I think DSi or above would work.

Thanks I've been looking around and heard N wireless routers without G capatibility wouldn't work and a lot of them do not specify if it uses G so thanks a lot you are a life saver for sure going to look into these and I don't care if it doesn't use DS i'm sure every DS online gsme is compatible with the 3DS. Again thanks!
