Seto: One of my spies tells me that it has begun. Jerry, do not trust that man that talked to us earlier. His combatant can not be trusted either. We will take care of business MDD style.

Troy: Nice. Now, watch out ya don't slip Colette.

Samantha had managed to stay out of sight by chance. When the light flicks to green, Noah prepares to drive off.

Colette walks across the ice without a problem and Clarine walks the rest of the way across.

Clarine: Troy, I suggest that you melt the ice when you get across so it looks more natural.

Samantha crouches down behind a mailbox so Noah doesn't see her when he starts driving again.

Troy: Can do.

Crossing quickly, Troy creates a wide sweep of flames that spread across the ice, melting it down and being put out by the water.

Troy: Should do.

The car passes the mail box without trouble, taking the route to turn across the bridge and into the desert.

Samantha follows Noah, running as fast as she can. Amazingly, she losing any ground on him. She isn't noticed by Noah by pure chance.

Back with Troy, Clarine, and Colette, they are seen crossing the desert while heading towards the road that leads into it.

Troy: Alright, so what do we do, just block him off? May not be wise to let him pass us, or Noah may go out in the desert for miles.

Once away from the public, Noah's car starts to speed up on the long flat road through the desert.

Samantha starts to lose Noah and takes out one of her tonfa. I have one shot. If I don't stop him, Clarine will have to by freezing the tires. While still running, Samantha throws the tonfa at Noah's back-right tire. It looks like I was right on target.

Colette: Well, to stop him, either Clarine can freeze the car as it passes or I can try to stop the car with brute force.

Troy: I can stop it... but we'd fail the mission at hand. I say we let Clarine go for it. Alright, lets backtrack down the road.

Samantha's attack hits the tire and causes it to come to a stop.

Ben: The hell!!?
Noah: We have company. Well Ben, I suppose we have to do it right here.

Noah turns back pointing a gun to Ben's head.

Samantha runs up to the car to see Noah pointing the gun at Ben. She grabs her other tonfa and breaks Noah's window.

Samantha: Don't shoot him.

Colette looks down the road and sees that the dust tracks from the car have stopped.

Colette: Do you think that Samantha managed to stop the car?

Troy: Dunno, but lets get down there.

Noah uses his free hand to brush away some broken glass.

Noah: Do tell why not, you have any idea how dangerous this mans power is. He can take us out, you all out, level the entire city with one blast. One laps of control. You want to risk that, to kill everyone.
Ben: What... who the hell is this... I was going to take out Noah and bring down the Company.

Samantha: If you try to kill this mutant, he will likely take you down if he is as dangerous as you say he is. Without you, Xias and Ukir will go way out of control. Believe it or not, they are even getting out of your control as we speak. We need this mutant here to help out for the better of all mankind.

Colette: Right, let's go.

Colette, Clarine, and Troy start to run towards the car.

Back with Joe, he has reached the apartment that Sylar went to before he went after Troy.

Joe: Hopefully "Imp" is home

Joe notices a piece of paper on the door. It reads "We are out on business, we will be back later."

Joe: Well, this has gotten a lot harder. The person with the power over darkness and shadows is known to be a hard bargainer.

Joe leaves the apartment building and heads towards the warehouses.

Noah: Entertaining story. And I've been keeping tabs best I can on Xias and Ukir. Ok, so I let this living bomb go. What if Xias and Ukir gain his power, what if Sylar somehow gets his power. Or Ben can simply blow us all to kingdom come. With all these variables, and good reason to take him down now. You want me to let him go? Give one good reason to keep this man alive that won't result in killing us all.

Samantha: Without this man, we probably have close to no chance to take down Sylar.

Just then Clarine runs up to the car.

Clarine: What's going on?
Samantha: Noah still wants to kill this man.
Clarine: If he looks like he's going to blow us all up, I'll cool him down.

Troy and Colette also catch up.

Troy: Come on Noah, give up. This guy can help us all

Noah eventually and reluctantly backs off.

Noah: This is a mistake if you ask me. This man is to dangerous to keep alive.

Peter has come to Sylar, removing the shard from Sylar's skull.

Peter: Alright, lets get serious here. Are you ready to listen to reason yet, or do you still want to play the power hungry psycho?

Sylar starts to stand.

Sylar: That stings like a bitch you know. I'll have to do something about that weakness.
Peter: Alright, here the deal. In the future, you overcome your ability, your obsessive need for power, and turned out to be a decent guy. I can help you fulfill that need without having to kill. You remember where I said to kill a few to safe many, well one kill, just 1 more, Gab. The deal is you have to stop killing innocent people.
Sylar: If I don't?
Peter: I'll go back in time and kill yourself, Xias and Ukir while your still baby's. How's that sound.
Sylar: That would drastically alter the course of history wouldn't it. You said yourself you don't want to get to involved since you don't belong here.
Peter: I don't, I want the world to defend itself. But I will if needed. So, do we have a deal. You either end your killing carrier today, or you die.

Seto seems in deep thought.

Seto: Things have become rather drastic. Damn it, where are you guys?!

Voice: We're back.

Jerry looks to the entrance to see Claudius entering the base.

Jerry: Claudius!
Claudius: Hello, Jerry. Hello, Seto.

Following Claudius is Jiron and Chrom is right behind him.

Seto: Yes. This is exactly what I needed. Chrom, good work.
Jiron: Hi, Seto.
Seto: Were you successful in your mission?
Jiron: You know it. We really didn't need Chrom, but he provided nice weaponry for us.
Chrom: It was nothing...
Seto: Your devices. Let me see them.

Seto looks at two devices. One with Jiron and one with Claudius.

Seto: This is it. Perfect! Now no one will stand in our way.

Jerry: I see. So that was your plan, Seto. Ha! Sylar, Ukir and Xias are nothing before us now.
Claudius: Right. So, where are all the ladies at?

Sylar: *sigh* Whatever then. Who do I make my last kill.
Peter: Hmm, a man, X-Ray vision. You'll be able to examine people without killing them.

Seto: Everything is going according to the plan. We have one more minor step in completing my plan.

Seto changes the frequency on his headset mic.

Seto: Commence mission Varros.

Seto changes it back to Samantha's frequency.

Seto: Samantha, are you there?

Jerry: You two now have one more mission. When Seto gives us the OK, the three of us are going through a secret passageway following his directions.

Claudius: Alright.

Samantha (talking into headset, her hair is covering it so nobody can see it): I'm here, we convinced Noah to keep the mutant alive. What do you need me to do now?

Meanwhile, Joe has made it to a dark warehouse.

Joe: Come on out, I need your help.
???: Why should I help you?
Joe: Name your price, I will pay that much.
???: I don't need money. I want something else.
Joe: What do you want?
???: Your diamond-edged sword.
Joe: One condition. I only give it to you if you survive the mission.
???: Fair enough.

At the base, Malik is seen working on a TV.

Malik: Finished. It should work now.

Colette: I'm guessing that this is part of the big plan.
Samantha: Right.

Joe and the man he found in the warehouse start to walk towards the MDD base.

Joe: It will take 10 minutes to get there, Rob.
Rob: Alright.

Seto and Jiron follow Malik.

Jiron: What do you need?

Meanwhile, Chrom goes over too.

Chrom: Seto, we'll need to do this soon.
Seto: Just a minute.
