If you strip the screws, you won't be able to screw them in and out properly. If you don't have the proper phillips head, don't try it anymore. Hopefully you haven't stripped them. They're supposed to be tight to keep everything together well obviously.

nothing has worked pretty pissed I can't fix it. What should i do I was recommended needlesnose pliers on Gamefaqs to at least loose it and screwdrive it the rest of the way out but did not work either. how do you tell if stripped? Sorry got vision problems and btw once you transfer saves from old HDD to new one can you still use your current save and still collect trophies and stuff?

Hope that helps.

And yes. If your trophies are synched online, they will not be touched regardless of if you transfer saves or not.

Yeah glad it isn't stripped from the looks of it. I've tried alot of what they mentioned and even had a few of my friends try and get it but no good. I'm really afraid if fucking it up and Gamestop won't do jack shit for me. As for saves I meant will you still be able to collect trophies on a save you transfered over? i mean i've heard some games are locked and have penalities for it (like not being able to collect trophies unless you restart the game).

Well put it this way. If you were looking to get trophies in a game for 60 kills, 80 kills and 100 kills, and you had 90 kills on your old data. You'd have the 60 kills and 80 kills trophy. On your new HDD, you'd still have those two trophies but you'd need to get all 100 more kills to get that last trophy. If you have the saved data on the new HDD, you MIGHT be able to continue where you left off. I'm unsure.
