| It is after the 22nd Martial Arts World Tournaments. Goku and the gang are eating out in said restaurant. BUT instead of Krillin going, Goku goes to retrieve the 4-Star Dragonball and his Power Pole. He meets Tamborine, sent by King Piccolo to kill Goku and fights him (Note that he doesn't eat).
Would Goku have survived in a fight against Tamborine in that case or suffer the same faith as Krillin? | |

| Nothing changed between the two times except Goku being more worn out at the time you mention. Goku gets his ass kicked and probably dies. Only after Goku's zenkai did he get much stronger. | |

| I don't think Goku would get killed by Tambourine when being attacked? Would he had been severely injured? Yes he would have, but after Krillin got killed, Goku went straight after Tambourine, received even more punishment then Krillin, and still survived. We also have to remember that he was on the list of Marital Artists that King Piccolo wanted dead and Tambourine caught Krillin by surprise as well. | |

| Tambourine also killed Krillen in one shot. He thought Goku was dead after he fell all that feet. If they had fought on the ground, he would make sure Goku was dead. | |

| Goku was worn out during that time obviously. He would have been killed. | |

| @Strider Zero and ArmorZeroX: I see where both of you are coming from, but we also have to remember that Goku is a Saiyan and Saiyan's can recover from near death. Even if Tambourine did all he could to kill Goku, there's still a chance that Goku would have survived and became even stronger. | |

| But they have to actually recover. Goku was not at the time. I think Tambourine would make sure that he was dead before flying off. In the air, he made the assumption that Goku was dead from that height of falling. He didn't realize that he can survive that. On the ground, if he's still moving and breathing, he's obviously not dead. | |

| Goku got a zenkai in between the Tambourine fight but its not huge. So yeah he wins but its not a total stomp like it was before Tambourine puts up a fight but gets pwned. | |
