Heroes: Rebirth.

Ukir: Impossible! I was moving at incredible speeds! No, you must have collapsed the entire maze in front of you. You fool, you've opened yourself right up.

Ukir is able to look at one of the walls and shatter it. Seto lies straight ahead.

Seto touches the rubble that was shattered and it shatters even more, turning into dust and flies right into Ukir's eyes.

Seto: Just what I wanted. Now, to end this!

Seto goes to place his hand on Ukir's head.

Ukir: NOOOO!!

Ukir lets out a huge mass of electricity everywhere. This breaks open the walls near Ukir and he bolts off blindly as fast as he can.

Ukir: I don't believe this. We're still not as good as we can be. We'll just have to hunt down more powers

Unprepared, Seto gets severely shocked and gets partially buried under the rubble that is caused by Ukir's outburst. Seto is on the brink of unconsciousness.

Seto: Wasn't...expecting...the obvious.

Seto is about to fall unconscious when he is lifted by a figure who we see as Chrom.

Chrom: I see, now. You wanted us to avoid contact so you could try to take them yourself. No one to slow you down and no one to worry about. Was a great idea, except that you forgot that mutant's original power. Let's get you back to base quickly.

Seto: ....yes. I took...quite the hit there. Thank you.

Samantha is gets ran over by Ukir and twists her ankle.

Samantha: What the heck was that?

Chrom turns his body into metal while carrying Seto.

Chrom: This will discharge you a little better.

Samantha tries to get up, and as she does so, she realizes the her shoulder is severely sprained. Damn it, I can't go around like this. Where is Jerry when I need him?

A human is seen running to Samantha through the shadows. As the person gets to Samantha, we can see that it's Colette.

Colette: What happened to you? I was taking my time heading back to the base, and I just saw you on the ground.

Samantha: Something just blindly ran me over.

Colette: Damn it, Ukir must have ran into you but I don't know why he would do that.

*Heroic music*

Jerry: Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers Johnny! I mean Jerry!

Jerry picks up Samantha without much subtlety and then starts to struggle.

Jerry: Damn...you're like four tons heavy.

A second later, he seems to have no trouble.

Jerry: Ah, was just fucking with you. What kind of super strength mutant would I be if I couldn't even lift a person?

Colette: Jerry, you came just in time. I was heading back to the base when I saw Samantha on the ground. It looks like she was ran over by Ukir, and ended up hurting her ankle and shoulder.

Jerry: Ukir? That's not good. I think there was a fight. It must have been Chrom or another mutant.

Samantha: Something just...flew right over me...I twisted my right ankle and landed on my right shoulder. The shoulder might be broken but, I think it's a severe sprain.

Colette: Yeah, it was Ukir. You are lucky you didn't get shocked. Jerry will carry you back to the base and if something goes wrong with him, I'll take over.

Jerry: I'll be fine. Colette, there might be people in greater need than us. We'll be moving at a slow pace, so go a little in the direction that Ukir came in. There might be something that we'll need to report to Seto.

Colette starts to walk in the direction where Ukir came from and notices the company building. The street is destroyed. She then sees Seto being carried by a human figure. That's not good. I might end up being the messenger between that figure and Jerry.

Chrom: You there. You're in Jerry's group, right? Tell Jerry everything is fine. I'll have Seto back at base within ten minutes.

Colette: Well, everything isn't fine. Ukir blindly ran over Samantha. Her right ankle is twisted and her right shoulder is either broken or severely sprained because she landed on it. Jerry is currently carrying her back to the base.

Chrom: Hmm...yes, that is bad. Seto took a massive shock and is being discharged as we speak. Jerry and I will take care of everything here.

Chrom, with his free arm, pulls out a metal short splint.

Chrom: Here. Give this to Samantha. She may need it to straighten out her shoulder.

Colette takes the splint from Chrom and puts it in her coat pocket.

Colette: Thanks, Chrom. I'll tell Jerry and Samantha that everything is fine. You can tell Jerry the whole story later, and I'll tell Samantha after she's all set in the base.

Colette turns around and starts to run towards where Jerry went.

Back in the base, Malik is still guarding the traitor.

Malik: You won't like it when they get here. You will wish that you never left the company base.
Traitor: Hah! I will get out of this before they even get back. You guys will never get rid of me.

Jerry arrives at base and brings Samantha to her room and sets her on her bed.

Jerry: Rest, now.

Samantha: I guess I was wrong about the shoulder, it's definitely broken.

Colette quickly makes it to the base and climbs down the ladder. Colette enters her room and walks up to Jerry.

Colette: Chrom gave me this split to help with Samantha's shoulder. He says that everything is fine. Also, did you notice that Malik was guarding somebody tied up to a chair?

Colette ties the splint to Samantha's shoulder and Samantha moans from the pain.

Jerry: Ah, good. I did notice something. Let's go check it out.

Not long after, Chrom arrives with Seto and he takes him over to his room and places him on his bed.

Chrom: You'll want to take a nap. I know you've skipped out on sleep lately to keep everything going.
Seto: True. To be honest, I'm exhausted even though I'm feeling much better.
Chrom: Jerry and I will keep things under control until you have slept well. Of course you couldn't think straight out there against Ukir. How long have you been up?
Seto: Over three days now. Heh.
Chrom: My goodness, Seto. Sleep well.

Chrom exits the room and looks for Jerry.

Jerry goes to Malik.

Jerry: Malik, what is the meaning of this?

Meanwhile, Jerry sees Chrom coming to their position.

Chrom: Jerry. Good to see you're unharmed. What's going on here?

Malik: I overheard Chrom and Seto talking about there being a traitor within the MDD using Steve the Mime. I then went down to the bedrooms and heard some rustling in Samantha's room. I caught this guy messing with her stuff. I guess that he had some files about you, Jerry. I took the rope out of my pocket and got a jump on him. He even said that we will never get rid of him.

Traitor: You might kill me but, the Company will never stop to infiltrate you!

Colette: This is huge. Too bad Samantha couldn't hear this. She'd want to beat the crap out of him.
