Needless to say, that wasn't a very good reveal. PS4 looks more appealing atm.

What's everybody thoughts on Xbox One? I think the tv features get a bit too much hate but I'm not liking where this whole always on kinect, always on Internet cloud thing is going. I would probably get the PS4 over this.

It's not that the TV features are bad, but there's literally no point to it being a big feature. Most TVs have multiple inputs that take seconds to switch to. You still need cable, you still need a TV. What is the point of hooking that to XBOX One to use up 3GB of its 8GB RAM? I mean, using a remote isn't that difficult and voice activation can cause a lot of problems when there is more than one person in sensor's reach.
The Skype thing is cool, but can cause a few problems especially when someone tries to bother you when you're watching a movie and you forgot to sign out.
The reveal was bad, straight up. They need to have an amazing performance at E3 to counter this.

Will likely not get unless I see something halfway decent exclusively for the console. Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey are the only reasons I still have my 360.

PS4 won't require DRM, but they'll permit it, as they've alluded.
I'm actually kind of thrilled that they've done this. They've essentially spelled out Microsoft's doom. Permitting DRM will continue to enable cross-platforming in the first year or two. Somewhere down the line, though, developers are going to realize that Microsoft's policies are going to end up doing them more harm than good. Developers will be forced to develop exclusively for the PS4.
I really hope that Sony and Nintendo actually do some cooperation to take this company down.

Microsoft wasn't to bad on 360. I wasn't a fan of "pay to play" but at least that was acceptable to many. What they advertise now though, yea, they'd deserve to fall hard this gen.

That's what I was trying to infer, but I'll be honest here, I won't miss Microsoft as a whole. After the whole Vista fiasco, the gong show that is 8, and now this, the company deserves to go under.

For those who missed E3 conferences.
PS4. - $399. - Supports used games. - No online DRM. - Now has subscriptions for online.
XBOX-One. - $499. - Anti used games measures. - Requires to connect once every 24 hours to operate games. - Suspects they still has subscription fees. (Sorry, forgot if they covered that, XBOX was on earlier today).
Both systems revealed exclusive games and exclusive DLC content. Additional Sony stuff was the reveal of the PS4 console, and updates on music and video services.

True Winner- Square-Enix
I am now going to give Square their forgiveness to gamers.
SQUARE, TO OUR MIGHTY GAMER GOD, PONG. WE ARE HERE TO FORGIVE THE SINS THAT YOU HAVE CAST TO THIS EARTH. THEY ARE KNOWN SIMPLY AS FINAL FANTASY 13, 13-2, and FINAL FANTASY 14. HOWEVER, YOU HAVE GIVEN US NEW LIGHT TO THE LONG AWAIT VS. 13 NOW KNOWN AS FINAL FANTASY 15. AND TO PROVE YOU HAVE CLEANSE YOUR WAYS, YOU HAVE GIVE UPON THIS EARTH KINGDOM HEARTS 3. NOW RISE GAMERS AS I CLEANSE THE FILTHY SINS OF SQUARE-ENIX AND TO FIX THE WAY THEY USE TO BE RUN AND TO GIVE GAMERS BACK THE LOVE THAT WE HAD TO THEM BEFORE THE SINS WERE COMMITTED.
God, I feel like preaching.

They asked how would you grade the performance. So they're using the school method of grading.

Square Enix just had to muck up the good news by cross-platforming XV and KH3
